All Med Search: Why Owning a Healthcare Recruiting Franchise Makes Sense in 2023

The healthcare industry is one of the only recession-resistant industries in the world and is also the largest employer in the United States. One of the most compelling reasons to consider owning a healthcare recruiting franchise is the industries consistent growth, particularly in the United States. With an aging American population, the need for healthcare professionals is expected to increase. By 2025, the number of adults aged 65 and older is projected to reach 65 million, which will lead to an influx of patients for healthcare providers.

As such, hospitals, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, urgent care practices, physician offices, clinics and other medical facilities need to recruit more staff. Recruitment agencies like All Med Search are expected to play a crucial role in helping healthcare providers maintain adequate staffing ratios.

According to Grand View Research, the global healthcare staffing market size was valued at USD 36.9 billion in 2022 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.93% from 2023 to 2030.This growth makes a compelling argument for participating in the industry.

Financially, a healthcare staffing franchise is accessible to anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit. A background in healthcare it is not a requirement for success. Franchisees who have soft sales skills can succeed by working hard, believing in themselves, and taking control of their future.

With the healthcare recruiting industry’s potential for growth and a solid business plan, franchisees have an opportunity to achieve greatness. Under the leadership of Nadia Gruzd, CEO, All Med Search is committed to providing outstanding service to its healthcare clients and candidates by being accountable for its actions and delivering on its promises.

In an interview with Insights Success, Nadia Gruzd, CEO of All Med Search, shared significant facts that highlight her professional tenure, challenges, and achievements over her 33-year career in this dynamic business arena.

Brief our audience about your journey as a business leader until your current position at All Med Search. What challenges have you had to overcome to reach where you are today?

I have a teaching degree and was an elementary school teacher for three months before deciding I wanted a career in business. I have been in recruiting since August 1, 1989. I started in South Africa placing secretaries in jobs. In 1992 I immigrated to Vancouver, BC Canada and got a job placing healthcare professionals from Canada and around the world into full-time, perm positions at medical facilities across the USA.

I went out on my own in 1995 and in 1998 I opened a branch in San Diego. The San Diego branch sponsored my L1 visa and then my green card. In 2000, I sold those companies and started a new healthcare recruiting company again in 2001.

In 2005 I was invited to join the Pinnacle Society which is a consortium of 75 of the top recruiters in North America. I was also invited to join the board of directors of the National Association of Personnel Services and was a speaker at the annual NAPS conferences.

In 2018 I decided to franchise All Med Search because we had so many job orders to fill nationwide and so many more clients to develop. My biggest challenge has been finding enough of the right franchisees and recruiters to join us to help fill the recruiting needs of all the hospitals we work with nationwide. We need more manpower to keep up with the growing demands.

For anyone looking to be in business for themselves, but not by themselves, owning an All Med Search healthcare recruiting franchise might be the perfect choice.

  • All Med Search operates uniquely compared to most other franchises systems.
  • You do not have to live in the territory you own. You can start and operate your business anywhere in the United States and service all our nationwide clients from one location.
  • High-profit margins. Net profit margins can be as high as 85% for permanent placement. Break-even is possible within your first 6-12 months.
  • Allows semi-absentee ownership. Whether you desire to be an owner-operator or build a business on the side with a manager in place, that is your choice.
  • Has proprietary systems and techniques in place. All Med Search has the training, signed nationwide contracts, recruitment resources and strategies for all its owners.
  • Requires no healthcare background. Owners need a passion to succeed, must be willing to put in the time, follow the process and have sales acumen.

It is a recession-resistant/high-growth industry. There is a massive shortage of healthcare workers, and the demand for healthcare workers will only increase. We help hospitals build their workforce.

  • Has minimal barriers to entry. Owners can start small as owners/operators and hire one internal employee. The business can scale quickly as the database of healthcare professionals and clients grows.

Investment:

The approximate investment including All Med Search’s one-time fee, and suggested working capital, is ~ $70,000 for the first year. The business can be quite profitable by the end of year one.
