She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Insights Success Media Tech LLC. Since her appointment to this post, she has brought about significant changes in the magazine that has contributed to its growth.
In the past, she worked with several English dailies including The Times of India, (BCCL) where she gave state and national level news. She also wrote for The Lincoln County News, Maine and Foster’s Daily Democrat (Sunday Citizen), Dover. She contributed articles to the magazine Change for Better. She is known for her honesty, hard work, leadership and willingness to take up challenges. For her, Work is Worship and her workplace is her temple.
Sumita has two post-graduate degrees in journalism – PG Degree in Bachelor of Communication and Journalism (BCJ) and Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ), from HPT Arts and RYK Science College affiliated to the prestigious University of Pune. She was also a faculty member in the same college, teaching Mass Communication and Journalism. She also taught Advertising and Public Relations in MGV College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology affiliated to University of Pune.
Sumita is an avid environment lover and has been associated with several conservation projects on a personal level besides writing news reports and articles. She is a die-hard optimist. She is a transformational coach and alternative healing therapist. She has been on the panel of many noteworthy competitions. In her past time, Sumita loves travelling, reading, sketching, trekking and other adventure sports.
