Tea Break is an original Tea and Burger concept born and grown in UAE. The brand was established in 2014. Since then, it has transformed itself into a cluster of tea outlets extending a variety of tea, coolers, and milkshakes that can change your mood in seconds.
In an exclusive interview with Insights Success, Shahaban P.K. shares valuable facts that highlight the significance of Tea Break Café in the modern business arena.

Brief our audience about your journey as a business leader until your current position at Tea Break Cafe. What challenges have you had to overcome to reach where you are today?
Tea Break Café has been building a solid platform for further growth, standardizing unit designs, refining systems, and controls, and developing a proprietary procurement chain. Additional Central Kitchen production and logistic units were added during 2020 to expand and maintain product consistency.
Part of this effort has included the development of signature training systems, service standards, and quality controls to ensure the growth does affect our distinctive customer experience. Tea Break will continue its growth in UAE and expand with company-owned and franchised stores throughout the gulf region and potentially beyond.
Tell us something more about your company and its mission and vision; how does your company thrive towards enabling advancements in the dynamic business arena?
Our Vision seems to establish new young personalities in entrepreneurship. Through unique Business Opportunities, we at Tea Break Cafe are dedicated to providing the best Quality, Hygienic Food Experience.
We have a wonderful plan to reach our end-to-end customers through our unique chain of Tea & Burgers and other unique food items. We set to have 100+ Operational Outlets by the end of 2027 in the PAN Arabian network. We seem to have a chain where we can provide food items through our authentic ingredients that everyone can proudly consume and enjoy.

Tea Break is adopting new technology to leverage and reduce its operational cost and to improve business performance by well thought strategy, using the right tools, and embracing the change, which makes the organization resourceful.
What, according to you, could be the next significant change in your sector? How is your company preparing to be a part of that change?
The next change will include the expansion and upgrading of the brand to the next level with the ability to spend more time with customers and to accept more workload and higher responsibilities. It helps by sharing the vision with employees, communicating frequently, and creating opportunities for two-way feedback.
Where do you envision yourself to be in the long run, and what are your future goals for Tea Break Cafe?
Tea Breaks envision is to build strong brand recognition among its audience. Tea Break future goals are to implement new and unique products in the market which can help grow the business and establish it at new locations.
What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the modern business arena?
With Tea Break’s success and experiences from the past decade. To be successful, an entrepreneur must be resilient. Any comment that runs along the lines of “that’s not possible” or “that can’t be done” should be treated as a challenge to prove wrong. They must then be prepared to persevere and execute their original proposal.
Read and listen to people with proven experience and whom you feel comfortable with. Some entrepreneurs are all about taking big risks, but maybe you’re not. Make sure your information is factual and comes from credible sources as well, so your business plan and strategies are thought out.
