Weston Technology Solutions is a certified Microsoft Silver partner and they have Microsoft, Sonicwall and Cisco-certified technicians. With documented HIPAA-training, they are certified resellers and partners for many other products as well.

Weston’s team of experts responds quickly to issues, covering everything from your servers and network infrastructure to your computers and workstations. Weston also provide end-to-end solutions for all of your technology needs with Proactive Monitoring and Maintenance with the goal of preventing problems to minimize downtime. If problems do occur, they are ready to jump into action to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.

Brock McFarlane, Founder & CEO of Weston Technology Solutions, has a degree in Management Information Systems and started a career with a large engineering firm as an IT resource. While Brock enjoyed the experience and learned a lot of good lessons, he was drawn toward how he could make a bigger impact for smaller businesses that don’t have the same level of IT resources that an enterprise-level organization does.

Brock put together a plan with his wife. They quit their jobs, packed what they owned in an old van and ventured to Alaska to start Weston Technology Solutions. They have been focused on providing proactive and preventative solutions and support for small and medium businesses since then.

‘Fully in charge of the Environment’
“We’re not a reactive company, and we won’t work with clients who want to work that way,” says Brock. The company wants to be fully in charge of the environment so they know about problems before their clients do, fixing them before they become an issue.

Weston is always looking back to why they are in business in the first place: To help people. By being focused around making sure they make lives better around them, it provides clarity when they hit challenges.

To Better the Lives of Others
The company’s core purpose is to better the lives of others, and they take that seriously. They make their clients better by strategically leveraging resources, systems and technology for their clients’ success. They make their team better in motivating, developing and empowering them. They make their community better through impactful actions and contributions.

Their clients are no longer losing sleep about their technology like they did before they came on board. Some of their happiest clients’ views on Weston:

“We will continue to rely on Weston for our daily IT needs and when software and hardware needs to be replaced and upgraded” -James Easton (CFO, Watterson Construction Anchorage, Alaska)
“We have seen a significant reduction in our downtime, giving us the ability to focus on our core business instead of our technology”- Johnita Callan (Owner, Callan Accounting Services, Bend, Oregon)
“We are living in a more and more regulated society, and business owners feel that more than anybody,” says Brock.  Businesses are moving more towards cloud-based solutions and are part of a more connected society. Weston Technology Solutions is preparing themselves for that, going through requisite training and gaining more certifications including HIPAA, Microsoft, and Dell/Sonicwall training and certifications, and its team is excited for the challenges their clients may bring them.
