On Monday 11 2022, Bitcoin dropped below US$40,000 (€35,299.40) for a brief time, its lowest since late September 2021. It suffered in its initial sessions, as investors were warried of by tightening monetary policy due to Fed’s restrictions.
At around 4.10 pm CET on Monday, the cryptocurrency’s value was dipped to at $39,663.18 (€34,996.61) before rising to around $40,900 (€36,087.91), half an hour later, though still down by 3.3%.
From the start of year 2021, Bitcoin kept on losing its value and by the year end it nearly lost 12 per cent of its total value.
