Experience the Revolutionary Impact of SINAY’s Data-driven Solutions!

Navigating the open seas can be unpredictable, with weather conditions, port congestion, and vessel breakdowns causing delays, increased costs, and potentially putting lives at risk. For centuries, the maritime industry has relied on experience and intuition to tackle the challenges of the open sea.

However, with the advancement of technology, the industry has been able to equip vessels with state-of-the-art navigation tools, real-time weather updates, and sophisticated monitoring systems. These cutting-edge technologies have revolutionized the way we operate at sea and have made shipping safer, more efficient, and more sustainable.

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) has transformed the maritime industry, creating new opportunities for innovation and growth. Smart shipping has now become a reality, with autonomous ships, predictive maintenance, and digital twin technology paving the way for a more connected and intelligent maritime ecosystem.

And one of the finest maritime data-driven solutions providers includes SINAY.

What was the initial idea behind the inception of your company?

SINAY was created in 2008. We love to say that Sinay, like Netflix (which was created in 1997), has always had the same mission but has transformed the way it delivers it over time. Netflix’s mission is to deliver the best movies at home. They start delivering it by mail and, after 10 years, through a cloud-based platform. Our mission is to deliver powerful information to maritime stakeholders to help them reconcile sustainability and operation efficiency. We start to deliver it by deploying sensors at sea and then analyze the data with complex algorithms that we developed on PCs. Since 2018, we have continued our mission through a cloud-based platform.

SINAY helps maritime corporations reconcile business efficiency with ocean sustainability.

“Making sure that the weather downtime of our offshore operations is estimated as precisely as possible is one of our main challenges in tendering. Thanks to Sinay’s Metocean Analytics and the Advanced Weather Downtime feature, we can analyze the metocean data in advance to plan and price the optimal period of execution to realize offshore operations.” – Wim Van Huele, Tender Manager at GEOxyz
