Nova Digital Wallet, owned by Meta, WhatsApp’s parent company, is testing in-app trials to allow users cryptocurrency payments transfers.
Now, it has been for several months that Meta, earlier known as Facebook is experimenting on the wallet app. It has earlier tried to launch Libra, its own digital currency, but failed.
Though, the Nova Digital Wallet’s chief Stephane Kasriel revealed on Wednesday, in a tweet that, the availability of the pilot program will be limited to selected number of its United States of America users. The head of the digital wallet further said that their goal is to offer a payment system to those millions of peoples from around the globe who have no access to other global financial systems.
