Motorcycles Go Electric! Honda Slates 2025 Launch of its New Electric Motorbikes

Honda is adding 10 motorcycles to its EV line up as part of its ongoing push to become an electric company. The models are expected to go on sale everywhere by 2025. Honda wants its motorbike lineup to be entirely carbon neutral by 2040 and to reach a 15% electric model sales target by 2030.

The company is also planning to release an electric motorcycle for kids in 2024 or 2025 for the U.S market.

In addition, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has revealed plans to equip future motorcycles with solid-state batteries. It is a technology that the company already intends to use in automobiles.

Apart from the electric models, Honda has been in the process of improving the fuel efficiency of its internal combustion bikes and investigating alternative fuels to reach its carbon neutrality goal.

Currently, Honda Motorcycles has 30 EVs and two electric sports cars in development.
