Can you provide a brief overview of your professional journey and your company’s contribution to the business world?

DIGITIN started in 2019 as an innovative IT/Digital service provider company enabling digital transformation through the development of cutting-edge IT solutions that integrate seamlessly with business strategy to drive growth.

We believe that digital transformation is not an option anymore for those organizations who aim not only to be profitable but also to survive in the digital era, where governments and large to medium enterprises are moving to digital.

We bring experience from large-scale organizations to our clients’ desks to be an innovative Business & technology consulting and solutions for businesses to help our clients resolve their challenges through digital.

By harnessing the power of Digital Consultation, Talent IT Resources (Insourcing and outsourcing), Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, Cloud and infrastructure, AI, and Custom Development, we create a myriad of opportunities for customers to innovate and achieve scalability, increased efficiency, and operational agility. DIGITIN has a wealth of experience working with international clients, including disruptive Startups, SMBs, and Enterprises.

Who has been your greatest source of inspiration in your career, and why?

I’m inspired by my father. His teachings are pillars and signs that help me in the long journey ahead. He taught ambition and optimism; he always told me that perfection is over quickness.

I’m also inspired by Steve Jobs, who changed how we use our phones; as he once said: “The ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do.”

Can you share a personal leadership philosophy or guiding principles that have contributed to you and your company’s success?

“If there is a will, there is a way.” By utilizing this philosophy, we enable things that seem to be impossible to achieve. We all know that digital transformation is not about creating a website or an app only, but it’s a change in the organization to adopt a new way of operation through digital, which seems to be a bit challenging to achieve.

Every leader faces challenges. What are some significant challenges you’ve encountered in your career, and how did you overcome them?

Right. First of all, as many startups, DIGITIN faced long lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, which makes starting up businesses much harder. A lot of potential clients decided not to invest in technology at that time. However, this challenge converted to potential business because many businesses understood the importance of transforming to digital.

The other challenge is that many clients don’t believe much in working with startups. They hesitate due to many reasons, such as experience and sustainability in the market. However, through certain steps, we were successful in proving that DIGITIN is the right digital transformation partner who really understands the needs, meets the requirements, and achieves the clients’ objectives.

Could you highlight a few key milestones or achievements that you are particularly proud of?

In order to sustain during the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to prove to our clients that we are a trusted digital enabler for them, not only by creating digital solutions for them but also by acting as trusted advisors to help them achieve their objectives. One of the techniques that DIGITIN followed is to acquire top talented people to help achieve; those talented people are the skeleton of the company that knows the industry and brings the best digital transformation practices to our clients.

Another achievement is about transforming customer service into digital by utilizing conversational and transactional AI chatbots to answer our clients’ customers’ inquiries and enable them to do real-time transactions through an omnichannel experience. These achievements helped our client to reduce the cost of customer service by 45% and provide 24/7 customer support service with accurate and quick responses.

Innovation is crucial in today’s business landscape. How do you foster a culture of innovation within your organization?

We see technology is changing every day, so innovation is the heart of technology change.

We Promote innovative thinking by fostering organizational enthusiasm through improving frequent, positive social contact between employees. DIGITIN has an innovation culture within the company, which is the engine that drives the organization to continuously get better, move forward, and innovate. The importance of the innovation culture helps us mitigate risks and face challenges and crises to not impact us or our clients eventually.

Finally, we apply a methodology called EDR: Explore, Deliver, Run, which motivates co-workers to continuous improvement through innovations.

What kind of impact do you hope to make in your industry, and what legacy would you like to leave behind?

The most important impact that we are making is improving Customer Experience (CX) through digital. We see a lot of organizations are moving to digital; however, the transformation could be enhanced and improved by understanding what your customer needs. This is done through 2 parts:

  • Focus on the overall customer lifecycle by giving attention to the way digital and non-digital experiences interact with each other. This approach treats CX as just one part of the overall customer experience strategy.
  • Focus mainly on digital customer experience. Many argue that online and offline consumers have different requirements and expectations, which is what makes a focus on better CX so important. We put all of our efforts into digitalizing the journey and creating a change motivation to transform customers from offline to fully digital customers.

What advice would you offer to emerging business leaders striving to make a positive impact in the Middle East?

Operate with an agile and resilient mindset. Becoming agile and flexible to change helps emerging business leaders to face challenges and become up-to-date with the latest trends. For example, there is no doubt that AI will support our doctors in the diagnosis stage to analyze data accurately. So, business leaders must learn from the fast-changing digital trends, adopt, and act.

Where do you see the business landscape in the Middle East heading in the next 5-10 years, and how do you plan to stay at the forefront of these developments?

Investing in digital transformation will continue to grow in the upcoming 5 to 10 years. Many trends are becoming crucial for business success, such as Artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Analytics. We think that these technologies will become more trendy to enter most, if not all, our lifestyles, starting from smart homes, smart cities, digital currencies, and connected smart vehicles, especially since many telcos have adopted 5G, which makes connectivity everywhere.

Our approach is to be aligned with the latest trends of digital transformation by learning and innovating our services so that we look forward to becoming a leading digital transformation enabler in the regional market.

Can you provide a glimpse into your future endeavors and projects that our readers can look forward to?

We believe that digital customer satisfaction is crucial for business success. The challenge here is that measuring customer satisfaction leads to a huge argument on how to measure and what to measure.

One of the projects that we are currently implementing is to measure customer satisfaction through Artificial intelligence (AI) by utilizing facial recognition to understand how the customer interacts during the journey of the transaction.

The project is still in the early stages, and we believe that it will become a big fuss in digital customer satisfaction improvement.
