In the early days, when most would have given up, there was one individual who believed that success wasn’t a matter of quick wins but of persistence and vision. For Milan Tresch, that belief was ingrained in him from the start, having been raised in a family where entrepreneurship and discipline went hand in hand. Fifteen years ago, when his parents invited him to join their business, Milan saw it as an opportunity not just to learn but to challenge the norms of business development.
He wasn’t deterred by the common startup mantra that projects should be discarded if they don’t gain traction within three years. Instead, Milan understood that some ideas—especially those that serve niche needs—required more patience to find their audience. As the third member of a team with over forty years of collective experience, Milan took charge of the administrative operations, market development, and the behind-the-scenes work that often goes unnoticed but is crucial to keeping a business afloat.
But his story didn’t stop at business. Milan grew up surrounded by athleticism, always pushing his limits, whether through martial arts or his current passions for running, gym workouts, and hiking. His ability to blend a disciplined, fitness-driven lifestyle with his entrepreneurial ventures has been the driving force behind his resilience. When the global shutdown hit, Milan seized the moment, using the pause to innovate and lay the groundwork for the strategies that continue to fuel their sales success. His journey is a testament to the power of patience, persistence, and the determination to make what others deem impossible possible.
Building Success from the Ground Up
First and foremost, Milan Tresch would like to extend his gratitude to *Insights Success Magazine* for featuring his company and the innovative technology it has developed. He considers it a true honor to be listed among the “successful” CEOs.
Milan is eager to learn from the other inspiring leaders featured in the magazine, hoping to gain insights into what it takes to turn a project into a resounding success.
Born in 1984 in Miskolc, Hungary, Milan grew up in a family deeply rooted in both athletics and entrepreneurship. His mother was a respected member of the city’s premier basketball team, while his father laid the foundation for their family business. After retiring from sports, his mother became a pivotal figure in the business, playing an integral role in its success until her untimely passing.
Milan’s upbringing in this unique environment—one that blended athleticism with entrepreneurial spirit—shaped his outlook on life and laid the groundwork for his current and future successes.
Fifteen years ago, Milan was invited to join the family business. His parents took him under their wing, teaching him the art of creating something from nothing and how to turn it into a thriving success. This early mentorship instilled in him the values of perseverance, hard work, and the importance of vision in achieving lasting success.
Journey from Innovation to Market Leadership
Milan Tresch’s expertise is rooted in years of collaboration with seasoned professionals, a generation older than him, who generously shared their wealth of experience and practical knowledge across various industries. In the 2000s, Milan and his team ran a project consultancy, where they helped numerous clients successfully start and grow their businesses.
At that time, Milan’s primary responsibility was to establish and nurture foreign partnerships. His work took him across the European Union and, at one point, to Kazakhstan, where he spent several months exploring local business opportunities. Along the way, he expanded his linguistic skills, adding both English and Spanish, along with some local languages, to his repertoire.
Milan firmly believes in the values of honesty, simplicity, and practicality, which he holds dear in both his professional and personal life. He believes that inventing and creating a great product or service is only the first step; the real challenge lies in effectively communicating it, gaining market acceptance, and ultimately selling it. In Milan’s view, without sales, success in business remains an elusive dream, nothing more than a costly failure.
From his experience, Milan understands that making a product or service a success can take years. The technology sector in particular demands maturity in its products, solid test results, and reliable references. Success, he says, requires not only creativity and innovation but also perseverance, sacrifice, a willingness to compromise, and, often, significant financial resources.
Milan rejects the widely accepted startup adage that any project not commercially successful within three years should be abandoned. He knows firsthand that just because something is niche and useful doesn’t mean it will be quickly adopted by the market. Instead, products may be tested, evaluated, and perhaps included in future developments, but true market success can take 5-7 years or more. For most industries, integrating unplanned innovations into ongoing projects is often an exception, not the rule, due to technical and logistical challenges.
Leveraging Generational Expertise for Innovation and Growth
The promising business being presented today is the result of two generations of knowledge, dedication, and hard work. The six owners of the company include three individuals over 60 and three over 40, creating a dynamic blend of experience and innovation that forms the foundation of the business.
Among the older generation, one member is a former police special commando commander who later became a successful military technology dealer. Another is the former head of a police counter-narcotics unit, now leading a company that develops sensitive military and civilian electronics solutions. The third member is Milan’s father, who conceived this project and continues to play an active role in building the market and securing funding.
The younger generation brings a fresh perspective, with two exceptional software developers who are leaders in the field of optical sciences and imaging. These professionals are key to the company’s competitive edge, driving innovative, world-class development work that is light years ahead of competitors.
As a team, they engage in professional negotiations with technical teams from some of the world’s most renowned companies. Milan, the third member of this talented group, oversees the company’s administrative operations, market development, and the often-unseen, tedious aspects of running the business.
Milan’s detailed description of the ownership structure highlights the significant value of combining expertise across such diverse disciplines to reach their business objectives. This high-level knowledge is not something that can be purchased—it is cultivated through years of experience, collaboration, and dedication. This unique blend of skills is what empowers the team to successfully navigate the complex challenges of the industry and set their sights on continued growth and innovation.
From Vision to Reality
Milan’s personal life reflects a balanced approach to health, interests, and independence. Throughout his life, sports have been a constant, starting with an early interest in martial arts, including kung fu and krav maga. Although he no longer practices those arts, he maintains an active lifestyle through morning runs, gym workouts, and hiking. He values simplicity in his routines and finds fulfillment in these everyday activities.
Outside of physical pursuits, Milan has a deep appreciation for intellectual and cultural enrichment. He is passionate about reading printed books, particularly on historical topics, and makes it a point to visit museums wherever he travels. Local architecture is a special area of interest for him, providing insight into the history and culture of different places. Milan is also a fan of good music, and when possible, he enjoys attending concerts by renowned musical groups. Like many of his peers, he indulges in electronic games, enjoying the occasional escape they offer. At present, Milan values his independence and is not in a long-term relationship, allowing him the freedom to focus on his personal growth and business ventures.
Turning to his professional life, Milan is the driving force behind THEXOVISION LTD., a company headquartered in Hungary with subsidiaries in Portugal and soon, Spain. The company’s mission centers on owning the intellectual property rights for their innovative developments, with practical business activities being carried out through their subsidiaries.
At the heart of THEXOVISION LTD. is a groundbreaking software solution designed to enhance video signals emitted by cameras in environments where visibility is impaired, such as fog, rain, snow, or smoke. This technology not only makes previously obscured objects visible and recognizable but also significantly improves visibility in underwater environments.
The technology began as a post-processing software initiative shared by an inventor who later became a valued business partner. The initial concept promised that, with the right support and further development, the software could operate in real time. Milan and his team saw the potential for widespread industrial applications and committed to its development. They invested in the infrastructure necessary to bring the solution to life, successfully completing the first phase of development after a year.
The team took a hands-on approach, setting up the first test equipment themselves, including a four-camera system at the Budapest airport control tower, supported by a powerful server. This allowed them to carry out months of valuable testing and measurements in a highly credible and demanding environment. The results not only validated the technology but also significantly boosted the credibility of the project, laying the foundation for its marketability.
