In the Post-COVID-19 recovery phase, as a major step towards normalcy, MGBF has decided to help the overall economy in general and creative economy in particular.
In that sense, it has decided to host an important art exhibition called ‘I Know You’re Somewhere So Far’ by Mulaika Nordin, a young and popular Malaysian artist.
The last two years saw heavy disruptions across the entire spectrum of creative industries like films, and visual arts. The industries which were estimated to worth around RM29.4 billion in 2019 and making about 1.9% contribution to the Malaysian GDP are now looking for support which MGBF has come forth to provide. The art exhibition which will be taking place in December 2021 will be a first of many such virtual event under the initiative of Government Programs.
