In 2001, Logic Point, a Digital Foundations Company, started to foster and provide quality SAP resources to SAP America in the Utilities space. While it sourced exceptional talent to solve industry challenges through SAP solutions, the company noticed that a key cause of its client’s challenges was the quality of their data. As most companies installed and upgraded their ERP, there were little to no control over data quality.
In 2018, Logic Point decided to re-focus on becoming a Digital Foundation Company by focusing on Data and Digital Advisory setting up a data practice to solve data quality challenges as well as engaging industry veterans to champion the fundamentals to successful transformation.
“We build digital foundations for industrial companies, enabling successful transformations through innovative data consulting and advisory.”
Below are the highlights of the interview conducted between Insights Success and Logic Point:
Describe your company and its SAP solutions which address all the needs of your customers.
Logic Point helps companies in establishing the foundations for their successful digital transformation and growth journeys. Our background in heavy industrials such as Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Manufacturing enables us to take a business-centric approach to data quality – all of our projects are designed to deliver key business outcomes.
As a member of the global OmniTell, Tech network of companies, Logic Point can offer comprehensive SAP services across all verticals. However, our core competence remains Data and Advisory, offered through our Data Sherpa™ and Digital Sherpa ™ offerings.
Through our Data Sherpa™ Service Delivery Platform, we perform data health assessments, and execute implementations of Data Lifecycle Management and implementation of best in class data quality tools within the SAP eco-system. Our data expertise also enables us to drive accelerated data migrations, including cloud platforms or SAP S/4HANA journeys.
As a part of our Digital Sherpa Advisory, we help companies study and “valorize” their key data assets with their business partners and customers. We offer Marketplace+™, a marketplace platform scoped with complex services, collaboration and communication as well as enterprise integrations enables our clients to host their own closed and open marketplaces to transact services and goods with customers and service providers while offering seamless integrations with SAP and other platforms for financials, supply chain and procurement.
How do your solutions differ from others?
Most data companies provide low-value point solutions that are tied to a certain tool or software vendor. We take a strategic view of the enterprise, combining advisory and data services to ensure the right outcomes for each unique client. Our technology agnostic approach allows us to service clients with diverse tech landscapes and business requirements. Our data valorization offering identifies key data as assets that enable companies to build new business models.

What technologies are you leveraging to make your solutions more resourceful?
The Data Sherpa platform includes best in class Cloud data dictionaries and template libraries to cleanse and harmonize master data. We use an AI-based address validation component sourced from the financial industry. Graph databases enable multi-system data quality exploration and correction. Our governance engines help companies perform rapid data migrations, saving time and money during acquisitions, divestitures, and migrations.
What are the company’s future aspirations? What strategies are you undertaking to achieve those goals?
As a next step, Logic Point aims to become a leader in data quality solutions in the Cloud Space. We are investing in our Cloud practice, developing tools that work better with major cloud vendors to ensure that companies who transform to the cloud can ensure clean, reliable data.
From an advisory front, we realize that our clients want to explore new business models that keep customers and suppliers engaged in their ecosystem. Starting with an expansion of our Marketplace+ product, we intend to use the technology to help drive service and product ecosystem transformations.
