Upcoming technology
As enterprises increasingly realize the need to go beyond merely shoring up their perimeter defenses, the Specialized Threat Analysis and Protection (STAP) market will continue to grow. Lancope’sStealthWatch®System gained traction in the STAP market in 2014 and became one of the leaders in the internal network analysis segment, according to a recent report from the International Data Corporation (IDC). With Cisco’s support, Lancope will continue to make significant strides in this market.
Cisco recently announced its intent to acquire Lancope, formalizing a successful partnership that is founded on a shared ideology of the network as the source of truth. Moving forward with this transition, Lancope is on the brink of an expansive chapter in its history of providing network visibility and context aware security analytics with the backing of Cisco, a world-class leader. Together, they can provide the most comprehensive outside in/inside out security available on the market. Both of them are looking forward to a bright future.

Valuable suggestions for startups by Mike Potts
Trust in your instincts. Empower your team; believe in your product and yourself. Dare to do something unconventional. Give it everything you have and continue to surround you with the best people. And maybe most importantly, learn how to take criticism and turn it into a positive. For entrepreneurs just starting out there will be many hurdles to overcome and moments of self-doubt. The ability to step back from what is assuredly your baby and see it for its flaws as well as its strengths is invaluable.
