Ravi Pandit, Co-founder, Chairman And Group CEO Of KPIT
Holding a master’s from Sloan School of Management, MIT, Cambridge, USA, Ravi Pandit started a Chartered Accountancy firm in Pune. It’s only after a decade that he decided to establish his own company in the Information Technology consulting and services sector and founded KPIT along with Kishor Patil in 1990. A gold medalist and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mr. Pandit has been accoladed with many awards for his entrepreneurial excellence.
Revered for his knack for coming up with innovative solutions, his vitality and trustworthiness, Mr. Pandit has effectively created and built strong relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholder institutions. It is his inclination towards the social sector, that made KPIT get actively involved in many CSR activities, ranging from inculcating an interest in Science amongst students, to waste management drives, and water conservation projects.
Kishor Patil, Co-founder, Managing Director and CEO of KPIT
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Kishor Patil kick-started his career in Kirtane and Pandit Chartered Accountants in 1983.
With his ability to foresee upcoming trends, he saw huge potential in the business prospect of integrating financial & management consulting with Information Technology. In 1990, he founded KPIT Technologies along with his colleague Ravi Pandit.
Under his leadership, the company has grown over 50 times in revenues in the last 12+ years to reach around USD 500 million (INR 3000 crores).
Kishor is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has been honored with the CA Business Leader Award by them in 2014. He has been conferred as one of the top 16 entrepreneurs in India by Ernst and Young in its Entrepreneur of the Year award program. Furthermore, he has also been included in the Top 50 CEOs list of 2013 by The Entrepreneur Magazine. A man of many talents, Kishor has also produced a state-of-the-art internationally acclaimed animation movie, Delhi Safari, on the theme of conservation of animal habitat. He was awarded the prestigious Golden Lotus National Award by the honorable President of India.

Future Projects
KPIT has launched its On-Bus Intelligent Transport System (ITS) for Bus-Manufacturers and State Transport Utilities (STU) in India to create better public transport in urban cities. On-Bus ITS has been made mandatory under the JNNURM II programme which is now known as Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).
KPIT’s product is the first in the country to be certified by Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) for meeting the stringent specifications of JNNURM II. They are working with different STUs towards getting these buses on the road.
