An Indian Business Tycoon became Asia’s Richest Person

Mukesh Ambani being in a list of the richest business tycoons in the world has attained the first richest position in Asia.

Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, overtook Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba Group, to be the richest individual in Asia. Jack’s net worth is US$44 billion which has been overtaken by Ambani’s net worth that is US$44.3 billion. Ambani has added $4 billion in his worth with an increment of 1.6 percent in RIL shares.
The company’s market capitalization rose over $102 billion Business that has been recorded at the stock’s 52-week high price of $16.14 (Rs. 1,107.25).
Reliance Business has launched two new services earlier this month, which includes:

  1. JioGigaFibre, an advanced fiber-based broadband connectivity service
  2. JioGigaTV, a set-top box that allows 4k resolution videos to play.

For JioGigaFibre, Ambani stated that the new service will allow users to view ultra-high definition entertainment television, to use voice-activated virtual assistant and smart home solutions, and have multi-party video conferencing. He also added that the service will redefine emergency help at every single second. He announced 15th August as the date by which registrations for the service will commence. Reliance has also increased the data usage limits from 1.25 billion GB to 2.40 billion GB and amount of video consumption from1.65 billion hours to 3.40 billion hours per month.
In an Annual General Meeting, Ambani said, “As we kick off our Golden Decade with a flourish, we remind ourselves of Reliance’s unwavering commitment towards India’s rise. May the God Almighty, bless us in our endeavor.” He also said that company’s aim is to double its size by the year 2025.
