0n August 22nd, IBM Peru announced the opening of a new data center at the Technology Campus of La Molina, it is built to come up with an increasing demand for IT services in Peru, especially in the areas such as cloud computing and Big Data analytics. This data center will be one of the country’s most scalable, flexible & energy efficient data centers, contributing to the competitiveness and productivity of organizations in Peru.
The US $8 million data center will help the local companies transform their front office business operations and it will be also beneficial to them by significant efficiencies through cloud computing & Big Data analytics.

In addition to the existing data center at the Technology Campus of La Molina and another in the district of San Isidro in Lima, It is the third IBM facility in the country.
