Considering the example of the COVID-19 pandemic, how do you plan to navigate through similar situations in the future?

The last virus that threatened businesses in the way that COVID-19 did was the H1N1 virus or swine flu. Much has changed since then in terms of how businesses operate, including the rise of remote work, the increased use of software as a service and other cloud-based applications, and just-in-time manufacturing and lean production strategies in supply chains.

Also, businesses today are more global in terms of workers, customers, vendors, partners, and suppliers, making business continuity and pandemic planning far more complex to test and carry out.

We planned our BCP geared to the 4 phases of pandemic planning (the PPRR model):

  • prevention
  • preparedness
  • response
  • recovery

Being an experienced leader, share your opinion on how the adoption of modern technologies has impacted the industry and how is your company riding the technology wave?

The AI market will grow to a $190 billion industry by 2025, according to Markets and Markets. With this already omnipresent technology in our lives, AI is expected to have many other uses, technologies advancing with startling velocity.

Just like Google, AI can scan the internet, LMS, your proprietary content, and other sources to auto-suggest the most relevant content. This approach saves learners’ time as they don’t have to manually go through multiple pages of search results for hours.

AI can identify learning goals and individual learning styles, ensuring that employees are receiving a personalized curriculum. AI will help overcome employee queries and even provide accurate answers while enterprises can use chatbots based on AI to help learners get answers to the most common questions. The whole process is carried out in the form of human conversation, just as you chat with a customer care representative.

Our company is embracing developments in AI and modern technologies to stay competitive. AI can analyze huge data sets and derive conclusions using technologies like machine learning and predictive analysis. It can also create learner profiles combining disparate data sources, giving us the competitive edge, we need to win the market of the future.

What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the leadership development sector?

Technology can now help with training senior-level managers more effectively. New industry studies have found more than half of executives believe their skills development is ineffective. This affects organizations seeking to train current and future leaders, as more business leaders want better soft and hard skills to build organizational capabilities. Though many corporate course offerings exist, course content struggles to tackle critical skills and organizational capabilities. Offering courses through virtual reality can offer insight into these needs.

Starting a training company has been a rewarding process. I have had the privilege of meeting many talented and successful professionals in the field – some from large companies, others from the military, and still others from experience classroom trainers. All have come with valuable insight into my company.

How do you envision scaling your organization’s operations and offerings in 2022 and beyond?

One of our major goals of starting Employeze is to build a business that will survive off its own cash flow without the need for injecting finance from external sources once the business is officially running.

Employeze will make sure that the right foundation, structures, and standard operating processes are put in place to ensure that our staff welfare is well taken of. Our company’s corporate culture is designed to drive our business to greater heights and training and retraining of our workforce is at the top burner of our business strategy.

Our goal is to grow Employeze to become one of the top 10 corporate training firms globally which is why we have mapped out strategies that will help us take advantage of the available market and grow to become a major force to reckon with not only in the Indian Subcontinent but also in the Asia Pacific.
