CloudHesive: Delivering Cloud-Centric Solutions

Most of the companies are concerned with the growing issues of theft, data leakage and deletion of their critical information. Taking this traumatic scenario into consideration, CloudHesive came into inception with the focus on security, reliability, availability, and scalability. The company provides cloud services through consulting and managed services. Its team of experienced cloud engineers helps its clients reduce their operating costs and increase productivity, while improving their cloud security posture by migrating and securing mission-critical workloads on to Amazon Web Service (AWS) and other cloud partners such as Microsoft Azure.
A Home-grown Platform
CloudHesive efficiently handles its clients’ cloud infrastructure through its home-grown platform, Centricity. Centricity is a platform that has a core management layer and has modules that plug into the framework the company has built. CloudHesive view Centricity as a key solution that helps it grow its business and provide customers with a seamless AWS solution that fills some of the operational gaps in the AWS service offering.
Centricity is not only offered to CloudHesive’s clients but also to all AWS’ clients. It is a solution for VDI and Contact Center management on the top of AWS services. This will make it easier for companies to leverage AWS services without having to internally build complex solutions to drive adoption into their organizations. The entire platform is built on top of AWS and is focused on leveraging their services. There are 3 modules in Centricity, each of which focuses on three separate functional areas including Media Box, a media module for Centricity that will leverage the Amazon Elemental services, Secured Workspaces, an end user computing module that will combine liquid-ware and workspaces to provide an end to end solution across multiple accounts in one platform, and Customer Connect, a contact center system that pulls together the reporting and functionality of the Amazon Connect platform into one system.
Strategic Leadership
CloudHesive was founded by Jim Walker, the CEO and Managing Partner, and Patrick Hannah. Previous to starting CloudHesive, Jim Walker worked for Pega-systems out of Cambridge, MA. He was recruited away from a CTO position with Arise Virtual Solutions to be the Global Head of Cloud Operations and Security for Pega-systems Pega Cloud division. During his time with Pega, he built a team from 5 individuals to over 90 peoples between India and the United States Operations teams. Jim left Pega in 2014 to start CloudHesive.
Developing an End-to-end Solution
Being a partner of AWS Advanced Consulting and a Managed Services, CloudHesive is a part of an elite group that works directly with the Amazon Web Services team. It leverages next-generation DevOps automation to increase scalability with its cloud-centric security solutions, controls and innovative management platform, which makes it stand out from other managed service providers. CloudHesive engineers’ architect and manage environments to meet stringent uptime SLAs.
Presently, CloudHesive is focusing on driving its migration and managed services offerings across the Florida region. It is also working on adding an application refactor team that will help customers to refactor their applications once they have been migrated to AWS. This will help the company to have an end to end solution for its customers who want to move towards server-less solutions.
Expanding Footprints
In the current year, CloudHesive focused on increasing its marketing and sales footprint to include having more brand awareness and overall presence in specific markets including Tampa, Orlando, South Florida, Texas, Southeast US, Mid-Atlantic US and LATAM. With that said, its marketing efforts have been and still are aimed on making itself the go to AWS partner and an industry leader for cloud centric solutions as a managed service provider.
In addition to its services, CloudHesive is dedicated on making cloud services easier to adopt and use for its customers. It has built a SaaS tool that brings the power of the AWS services to its customers without having to implement a large team of engineers or developers. Its Centricity platform works across several AWS services which include Amazon Elemental, Amazon Connect, and Workspaces. It has filled the usability gaps with AWS by providing an easy to use interface and integrations to other third party products to help its customers get the benefits of cloud services faster.
Prestigious Achievements
CloudHesive takes pride in its prestigious felicitations. In the year 2015, it was recognized as winner for Business of the Year awards hosted by South Florida Business Journal and as one of the “25 Most Promising Cloud Service Providers” by Outsourcing.
The Channel Company and CRN put out their MSP 500 list, which recognizes 500 Managed Service Providers in North America for their outstanding work and CloudHesive made into the list for the years 2016 and 2017.
