One of the Apple’s subsidiary, Beats has introduced Powerbeats, the bluetooth tethered headphones for $149. These headsets were in various rumors from several weeks with the name Powerbeats 4. The company has confirmed that no Powerbeats 4 will be launched at least for now and no numerical has been tagged onto the end.
The new model has sustained the conventional tethered style along with a number of new features from those truly wireless earbuds. These earpieces have a battery life of around 15 hours with 9 hours capacity while on-board, though in giant cases Pros have the tendency of 24 hours. After getting charged with the help of a lightning cable for five minutes, the new Powerbeats would be elligible to be used for an hour of playback.
As of Pros, the new model has been rated IPX4 as it has the tendency to resist sweat and water. The new design has been equipped with Apples’s H1 chip for quick pairing with the relative devices and to control the hands-free ‘Hey Siri’. These headsets also contain a power button on the left earpiece along with a volume rocker and multi-function ‘b’ button on the the right one for music controlling.
According to Beats, these earbuds would be available in three color options including Red, Black and White. The company has also revealed that the new version uses a neckband design like the previous versions though the cable can be seens behind the ear.
Beats has also declared that the new Powerbeats will be available from 18th March on Apple stores, Best Buy and on those retail stores which sell Beat’s headphones.
