Eight states will start to carry out another component that will permit clients to add their driver’s permit and state IDs to Apple Wallet for iPhone and Apple Watch.
Arizona and Georgia will be the main states to present the feature, Company reported on Wednesday, with Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah to follow.
The states have not yet said when they will begin making the computerized IDs accessible, yet when they do, the Transportation Security Administration said it will permit explorers to utilize them at designated spots and security paths at select air terminals.
“The addition of driver’s licenses and state IDs to Company Wallet is an important step in our vision of replacing the physical wallet with a secure and easy-to-use mobile wallet,” said Jennifer Bailey, Company vice president of Company Pay and Apple Wallet.
