The labor union that represents the American Airlines pilots expressed that it will be doing informational picketing in the weeks to come at the carrier’s main hubs to protest against their exhausting work schedules and lack of requisite accommodation over the summer.
The Allied Pilots Association said that it will be picketing at major hubs like the Miami International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and other major locations.
Earlier in August, a lawsuit was filed by a union representing Southwest Airlines pilots over forced time off work and other changed working conditions due to the ongoing pandemic.
