As the leaders of the Umbrella Infocare (UIC), they have realized that a successful entrepreneur always searches for change, responds to it, and exploits it as an opportunity.
As the Co-Founder of Umbrella Infocare, Sanjay oversees the operations and assists his team in rolling out key practices that unlock the value of UIC solutions and services. He is also responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for consulting and partner solutions.
Sanjay brings with him more than 20 years of experience in IT and aviation. Throughout his career, he has held senior management positions in wide-ranging areas like Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR. He has vast experience in driving operational excellence and overall customer and partner satisfaction across various industries. He was also founder Director of Momentum Infocare. Preceding his IT experience, he held a finance leadership role in a North India based Airline.
In his personal time, Sanjay enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He likes sports, Bollywood movies and travels. In life, he is a firm advocate of karma or actions. “Karma is like the boomerang,” he advocates. “Whatever you give out, will come back to you.”
Originally, from Shahjahanpur (UP), he holds a degree in Chartered Accountancy (ICAI) from Delhi.
Gurprit is the Co-Founder of Umbrella Infocare (UIC). His role provides leadership and direction to UIC’s sales, technology, and customer relations, driving continuous productivity improvements and greatly contributing to the realization of revenue and profitability goals.
He has more than 20 years of experience in sales, strategy, business development in Information Technology Industry. Gurprit was Director of Momentum Infocare. Prior to Momentum Infocare, he has held senior leadership roles in Tata Consultancy Services and IBM India.
In his leisure hours, Gurprit is heavily into reading books. His interest includes wide-ranging subjects like management, life, mythology, and keeping himself up to date with technology trends. He likes travelling, and keeps himself fit by walking and jogging regularly.
A resident of Delhi, he holds an MBA Degree from IMT Ghaziabad and Masters in Operational Research from Delhi University.
Crossing the Hurdles
It was, however, not an overnight success for Umbrella Infocare. The company went through many roadblocks and challenges during their journey so far. According to Sanjay, adopting a new technology has been a big challenge for the company. “Initially, adoption of Public cloud and Mobility(EMM) was slow. It was also difficult for us to acquire the first few customers for these new offering in 2013”
But the company managed to deal with this challenge by persistence and doing POC(proof of concept) as per customers requirement and also tied up with industry leaders AWS for Cloud services and Citrix for Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
