Massive Spaceship company Virgin Galactic, which is owned by Richard Branson, said that it will start ticket sales on Thursday for space flights starting at $450,000 per seat.
Branson ascended more than 50 miles above the New Mexico desert in a Virgin Galactic rocket plane on July 11. He was safely reinstated in the vehicle’s first fully crewed test flight to space, a symbolic discovery for a venture he started 17 years ago.
In June, Virgin Galactic received acceptance from the U.S. aviation safety regulator to tour people to space.
This resulted in a 5 % rise in shares of the company in extended trading on Thursday.
