Below are the excerpts from the interview:

Mohammed, please briefly describe your professional journey for our readers. What challenges did you face along the way?

I am an MBA graduate from Cardiff University (UK). I have experience with LG and Sony manufacturing units in the UK as per time. Later I started my business in the UK on Asian Ethnic Garments, but I had to move to Kuwait due to a future plan for the Middle East. I was working as Business Development Manager and then became an IT specialist.

I have partnered with Cisco, HP, Microsoft, Kaspersky, Sophos, Fortinet, Engenius, McCafe, and Symantec to sell their solution in the GCC market. After developing my knowledge in business operation and advancing in the IT field, I decided to have my own business or company.

For any business or company, the biggest challenge is finance, but I have multiple challenges as being Founder, CEO, and Entrepreneur. Those challenges were:

  1. a) Finance
  2. b) Right Team
  3. c) Retaining the Loyal Customers

To overcome the financial challenges, we had to increase our effort to deliver the services to the customer immediately so that we get the payment instantly. We stopped giving customers credits for long periods so that our investment is protected and bring it back ASAP. We had to reduce our profit margins to get continuous and more business.

I have always faced high challenges in recruiting the right person for the company, and for this I always outsource the selection by agent and final interview. I take it to get the right candidates who could be really an asset for the company.

Generating customers is easy, but keeping them with us and ongoing is not easy because every day we have new competition and new competitors, due to which we really had to give our best solution to customers, which is to their budget and not compromising on the quality. But at the same time, we are keeping our team on high alert to serve the customers 24/7 round the clock.

Tell us about Kiran Smart and its foundation pillar.

How does Kiran Smart promote workforce flexibility, and what is your role in it?

It is very simple for us, and we made it very flexible to work from home and work from the office. There are no time limits, but we concentrate on productivity and task completion. My role is to keep the team happy and motivated.

What will be the next significant change in the Tech industry, and how are you preparing for it?

The next significant change in the tech industry will be AI. And this AI will be in everything. If we see how (OpenAi) ChatGPT is making a revolution in the tech industry.

Therefore, in the future, there will be a hybrid solution that will be inclusive of ai, robots, and automation. But we should not forget virtualization, which is another big change coming. We have already our team who is working on the changes and the trend in the market.

What is your take on technology’s importance, and how are you leveraging it?

Looking back at the last 10 years, technology was meant for business or commercial purposes. But now, Technology has become a part of our life, which means that technology has become so important in our life that without technology, we cannot live, especially those who are living in cities.

We are using the technology to the fullest to help and support our customers and not only customers but the humanity. Therefore, we are using our robots as one of the advanced technologies to improve human life in the future.

What are your goals in the upcoming future?

We have many goals to achieve however, at the moment, our major goal is to make our Dubai company successful like we did in Kuwait. So our major focus will be on the UAE market now as we are done with the Kuwait market.

What advice would you like to give the next generation of aspiring business leaders?

To be a successful business leader, one must know how to forecast the Future Market correctly.
