Joe Krivickas, CEO of Ipswitch, holds a BS in electronics engineering from the University of Scranton and an MBA in entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School of Business. Served as an officer in the Army National Guard’s reconnaissance infantry, Krivickas brings more than 30 years of experience in building and leading high-velocity software companies with an emphasis on developing and sustaining a strong culture.
Krivickas is a veteran information technology industry President and CEO, who has led several leading organizations through different phases of growth. Most recently, Krivickas served as the CEO of SmartBear Software where he led the company in becoming the world’s largest volume supplier of testing tools with more than one million users. Under his leadership, the firm was selected as Glassdoor’s #2 Best Place to Work for Medium Sized Businesses in the country and received the Boston Globe’s 2013 Best Place to Work Award.
