Hewlett Packard Enterprise Close to Acquiring Juniper Networks for $13 billion: Source

According to a person with knowledge of the negotiations, Hewlett Packard Enterprise is in talks to acquire Juniper Networks, valuing the company at approximately $13 billion, as reported by Reuters on Monday.

According to the insider, a transaction between the two businesses might be revealed as soon as this week. Hewlett Packard’s shares dropped 7.7% during extended trade, while Juniper’s shares increased 21%.

According to a WSJ story earlier in the day, the transaction will support the almost 100-year-old technology company’s artificial intelligence (AI) products. Regarding the WSJ article, Hewlett Packard refrained from commenting, while Juniper Networks did not instantly reply to a Reuters request for comment. The manufacturer of servers, HPE, announced last year that it was launching a cloud computing service intended to support ChatGPT-like AI systems.

Routing, switching, Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi), network security, AI-enabled enterprise networking operations (AIOps), and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies are among Juniper’s high-performance network and service offerings.

Network experiences from Juniper change the way people interact, work, and live. Through the challenge of overcoming the inherent complexity of the cloud and 5G age, its solutions enable the most important connections – banking, healthcare, and education. Juniper is dedicated to helping network teams and each and every person they support achieve tangible results.

Setting a good example is what social duty is all about. It is imperative that this multinational corporation take action to support its employees, safeguard the environment, and adhere to the highest moral standards. Setting the bar for its industry, from Juniper’s integrity-driven supply chain and sustainability aims to its operational adjustments and charitable outreach initiatives.
