Google and Disney deals to restore access to latter’s channels on YouTube TV

After two days of blackout, Alphabet Inc. and Walt Disney has finally reached an agreement of distribution to restore complete access to Disney’s channels on the YouTube TV platform.

Channels like ESPN and FX have already been restored as per the deal, YouTube’s official Tweeter handle announced, although details including financials have not been revealed by either of the company. In a warning last week YouTube said last week that the agreement would be renewed only and only if Disney will offer equitable terms and further reduced the monthly subscriptions rate of YouTube by US$15. Thus, the effective rate be US$49.99 rather than earlier rate of US$64.99.
Although, monthly subscription rate had been reverted to US$64.99 on Sunday, the users who are affected by the new move will receive US$15 as one-time discount.
