On Tuesday, Dodge unveiled its latest 2024 Charger line-up, showcasing two robust, all-electric models. Among them is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, touted as the “world’s first and only electric muscle car.” This electric powerhouse boasts up to 670 horsepower, achieving a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.3 seconds, solidifying the Charger’s position as the fastest and most potent muscle car globally. Additionally, it sets a new record for muscle cars with its quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.5 seconds and offers an estimated range of 260 miles.
Additionally, Dodge revealed another all-electric model joining the Charger lineup, the Charger Daytona R/T, boasting 496 horsepower and an estimated range of 317 miles. Charging capabilities are impressive, with an estimated 8.1 miles per minute for the Daytona Scat Pack and 9.9 miles per minute for the Daytona R/T when utilizing a 350-kW fast charger.
“In our electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, we’re bringing Charger Hellcat Redeye performance levels to the forefront, marked by the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust. Meanwhile, our Hurricane engine-powered Dodge Charger Sixpack models provide the Brotherhood of Muscle with a gasoline option, delivering superior horsepower and torque figures compared to the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines,” stated Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge brand, in a press release.
The Dodge Charger’s Scat Pack and R/T editions boast infotainment systems equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, customizable with tabs for accessing media such as SiriusXM, TomTom navigation, Amazon Alexa, and beyond. Additionally, they offer an optional augmented head-up display that projects a wide field of view with enhanced virtual image distance. These two new Charger variants feature 16-inch and 10.25-inch instrument clusters, respectively.
