Apple has since forever been known the legendary smartphone and laptops manufacturer. And in the first ever virtual WWDC, the announcement made by the company, that it would be manufacturing its own chipsets for MacBooks was key highlight of the conference. The company had talked about power of the chipsets and it seems like the audience would not have to wait for long before its launch.
It has been rumoured that the first ARM based MacBooks are going to be launched by the end of 2020. it has been expected that the company would be launching the 13 inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air with these chipsets powering them. It has been reported that the company has started shipping backlit units and other components. This machine would be going under mass production in the fourth quarter of this year.
Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that since the beginning Apple has always willingly accepted changes to personal computing and has now taken it a step further by announcing its transition to Apple Silicon. Apple silicon will make the future Mac more powerful than ever.
