How to Prepare Your Child for Kindergarten?

1. Develop Early Literacy Skill

Start reading to your child from an early age to foster a love for books and storytelling. Introduce letters of the alphabet through games, songs, and interactive activities.

Engage your child in counting activities using everyday objects, such as toys, snacks, or household items.

Encourage your child to practice drawing, coloring, and tracing lines to improve fine motor coordination and control.  

4. Promote Independence Skills

Encourage your child to practice self-help skills such as dressing themselves, using the restroom independently, and washing hands before meals.

Encourage them to use words to describe how they feel and empathize with others’ feelings.
