Billionaire Bernard Arnault of the luxury conglomerate LVMH has named his daughter Delphine as the new CEO of Christian Dior.
Givenchy, and Tiffany & Co., the 47-year-old will assume the roles of chair and CEO of the French label in February.
Delphine, whose father this month became the richest man in the world, will leave Louis Vuitton, where she started in 2013 as executive vice president.
She worked at Dior for more than ten years prior, and she has been actively associated in the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers.
The career of Bernard Arnault’s daughter at the company was “defined by brilliance,” according to a news release.
