Sony to acquire ‘Halo’ creator Bungie Inc. in a multi-billion deal

Sony Interactive Entertainment is set to acquire ‘Halo’ videogame creator Bungie Inc. in a 3.6 billion US Dollars deal. Sony Corp, responsible for a leading gaming brand PlayStation, will be adding several exciting game titles, including ‘Myth’ and ‘Marathon’, to its pocket.

This would prove a milestone deal for the multi-billion dollar gaming market.

Earlier, in 2007, Bungie Inc. had separated from Microsoft to go private.
