On Dec 14th, 2021, America’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced its award of $3,089,894 in financing 30 of America’s Small Businesses in the area of novel technological development for environmental and public health problems. .
EPA said that, in a rapidly changing world of emerging technologies, we too can leverage these innovations through our small businesses to address our own environmental and public health concerns. To aid in such companies under our Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, we are awarding up to $100,000 to Unearth Technologies Inc. of Seattle in Phase I funding, which will be for six months. It will be based on their proposed technology’s ‘proof of work’. The technology uses an innovative approach in identification of lead service lines which need critical replacement. Unearth Technologies Inc. does this with their OnePlace Geopolitical Work Management Platform.
