Technology clearly gives operators an edge in the heavily crowded gaming industry. Taking advantage of such a landscape in the gaming industry, Entain, the global sports betting and gaming company, announced on Monday that it would be launching Ennovate to enter and compete in the Metaverse.
With the launch of Ennovate, the company aims to enhance users’ entertainment experience in the Company. Entain plans to invest around $133 million for the start-ups and application development for VR, AR, and nonfungible tokens.
In a statement, the CEO of Entain, Jette Nygaard-Andersen, made it clear that the company wants to bring innovations in the sports betting and gaming industry in the Metaverse.
